I have always been interested in good food, both home cooking and eating out. Paired with an interest in complementary and alternative medicine, after the birth of my third child I decided to formalise my interests by training at the prestigious Institute of Optimum Nutrition in Richmond, Surrey – the only course fully accredited by the Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC). After four years of studying, I completed my course with a Foundation Degree and Diploma in Nutritional Therapy with Merit. I also have a diploma from Leiths School of Food and Wine in Nutrition in Culinary Practice. I am currently studying to become a Herbalist on the Betonica Medical Herbalist Training Programme and hope to qualify in 2024.
I am a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and the Complementary & Natural Health Care Council (CNHC).
